I disliked the ad-supported Sudoku apps I tried so I created my own ad-free PWA and it also teaches solving strategies and can auto notate and auto solve.
I disliked the Python/Colab approach to learning/experimenting with ML, so I created my own languages and tools via Claude.
I didn't want to learn/code Verilog directly for programming inexpensive FPGAs, so I developed my own higher-level language and tools via Claude and Codex.
I disliked having to set all the controls on function generators and digital scopes so I developed scripts to do that over USB instead of via buttons, via Codex.
I disliked using desktop video editing tools, so I used Claude to generate all sorts of video editing CLI and desktop tools that are more automated, less manual.
I rebuilt everything I needed for an invoicing software in about a week for my business. I used to use 2 free different software's that wanted to charge me $20 / month each. Now I run mine on a local rasp pi and it does everything I need.
If you're 3d-printing, "AI turns 234,000-triangle 3D scan into a clean, editable 119-face solid and recreating a broken part from phone photos in 30 minutes"
I made tons of stuff with replit, but I don't want to bore you with the details.
I think we can get rid of PDFs by saying ( convert into a .htm page and inline all css and js, so its a single file ( also tell it to "save settings with indexdb" -- if you need storage )
