This is clever! I can’t stand drafting long texts on the phone. I’ve always said that sending texts from your computer is one of the most underrated features of macOS.

Been using Google Voice since it was Grand Central, definitely one of my favorite features... I usually keep it open as my first browser tab when I'm in front of the computer (even work).

I do wish they'd add support to drag/drop or copy/paste images though. That's about the most cumbersome interaction. It was much better when Google Hangouts was fully integrated.

Clearly, the author feels the same way / in a similar way

[android] Alternatively just write the message and send it from the desktop:

        https://messages.google.com/web/

Wasn't aware of this, mostly use my Google Voice number... but nice to know about the option (bookmarked).

Another trick I use for full messaging while on my laptop/tablet, is use https://messages.google.com/web and pair with my phone

Great for copy/paste of OTP and other messages that get sent to my phone (in addition to sending messages)

There is also a similar capability for WhatsApp messaging: https://web.whatsapp.com/

How long can the message be? Or put another way, how much text can a QR code hold?

looks cool! I often lookup something on the PC and then want to send part of the result to friends...

                saves shortcut

On Windows I use Phone Link for this purpose. Great for looking at photos attached photos also.

I am on a Mac, I use Messages on the Mac.

                    However the concept is cool!

I'm an iPhone owner, but don't have a MacBook. I am seriously jealous of being able to send text messages with a laptop... hence this tool hah

It's also doubly neat because you can fill out OTP codes on websites (both from email using Mail app and SMS).
